Yes, it's that time of year again: Alpha Phi Omega's 20-Somethingth Mostly-Annual Broomball Tournament is back!
What is 'broomball'? Broomball is a sport similar to ice hockey, without all the fuss of skates, pads, and hockey sticks, but with all the fun of running around on ice chasing after a little red ball with 'brooms'. More information about the sport can be found at Wikipedia.
Each year, the RIT chapter of Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity hosts a 12-team double-elimination Broomball Tournament, open to the students of RIT and Alpha Phi Omega chapters at our neighboring colleges. Teams generally consist of 8-10 players including a Team Captain, and teams are welcome to bring their fans to the arena to show their spirit.
